Love Between the Covers Is Coming!

A few years back, we were delighted to welcome Laurie Kahn and her colleagues to Lady Jane’s Salon to film the proceedings for a documentary about the cultural impact of romance fiction. And now we’re thrilled to see Love Between the Covers will be out soon… in fact, you can pre-order it on iTunes right now!

Up above, you’ll see the trailer—can you spot the quick glimpse of the Salon? If not, don’t worry, because here’s a longer clip, featuring a reading by Karen Rose!

Spotlight on Satellites: Lady Jane’s Lancaster

Here at Lady Jane’s Salon® in NYC we’re taking off the month of September to rest and recharge in preparation for what promises to be our busiest and best fall/winter season e-vah! (Memo to The Powers That Be: let’s go light on the snow this year, shall we?). In the interim, we thought it would be fun to catch up with some of our satellites, currently at six nationwide. Below is a guest post from romance author, Holly Bush, co-organizer (with Megan Hart) of the Lady Jane’s in Lancaster, PA. Launched December 2011, the Lancaster satellite is one of the more senior members of our Salon family, set in historically rich, bucolic Lancaster County. Check out what Holly has to say and then please plan to rejoin us here in NYC on Monday, October 5th, 7pm at Madame X when we ford into fall with our usual lineup of fab romance authors (including Katana Collins, Weny LaCapra and Jasinda Wilder–whoot!!!), delectable $5/$6 cocktails and “mocktails,” and great raffle prizes (Audible gift cards, anyone!?!), all to benefit our house charity, Win.

Hello New Yorkers!

Lancaster County has a rich history, dating back to the original William Penn Charter in 1681, a Farmer’s Market that has operated continuously for over 275 years, fabulous outlet shopping, active downtowns such as Lancaster City, Lititz, and Ephrata, and the most productive farmlands in the lower forty-eight. We are fortunate to be home to Franklin and Marshall College, Elizabethtown College, and Millersville University as well as a Library system accessible to most all county residents. Yeah for books!

Lady Jane’s Lancaster is held quarterly at the historic Cat’s Meow Restaurant in Manheim, Pennsylvania, a short 10 miles from Pennsylvania Turnpike exit 266. (Upcoming Salons will be October 3rd and December 6th). We’d love to have you join us. Come for the day or the weekend – there’s plenty to do and see!
